One night in May 1981 a young preacher in Nigeria was given an assignment. Winners' Chapel International Regina exists because of what he was told that night, and because the sentence he came out with has never been put down since.

Eighteen hours that set a course
The night of May 2, 1981, and the assignment that came out of it.
Bishop David Oyedepo describes an encounter with God that lasted eighteen hours. He came out of it holding one sentence, and he has been preaching that sentence ever since.
It was never a slogan. It was an assignment, and it named the enemy plainly. Oppression. Sickness, lack, fear, shame, the things that shrink a life until it stops looking like the one God intended.
Living Faith Church Worldwide grew out of that assignment. Every branch of it, this one on Rose Street included, exists to carry the same sentence to the people standing in front of it.
The hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the Word of Faith.
